On the 17th and 18th of October 2015 visited the 6th Healsville Heritage Festival. While it is a small event it certainly has a large variety of items to see. This year there was 5 steam portables (most were running pumps, rock crushers etc), a Marshall Traction Engine, a Cowley Steam Roller and a Foden Steam truck. Also in attendance was a range of Miniature steam engines, cars, trucks, tractors and stationary engines.
The event is held in front of the Healsville railway station. Which has plenty of established trees providing large amounts of shade. The railway (Yarra Valley Railway) was giving tours of the workshops and regular shuttle runs using their Walker rail car. The event was well attended by the public and certainly worth the trip out.
